Cervical motion preservation Park City, Utah

Motion is life.
We exist to give it back.

When neck pain narrows your world, the first decision should not be rushed. Begin with an unhurried conversation about your imaging, your life, and every reasonable option.

Led by Armen Khachatryan, M.D.

A focused cervical disc replacement practice

A different standard

Relief should never cost you your motion.

A neck that cannot turn changes how you drive, work, move, and live. For the right patient, cervical disc replacement may offer an alternative to fusion by replacing a damaged disc while seeking to preserve movement.

No procedure is right for everyone. The responsible first step is understanding your condition, the alternatives, and what each choice could mean for the life you want to return to.

The procedure, explained plainly. The decision, made carefully.

Start with clarity

Your decision.
Made on your terms.

Before you decide, you deserve to understand what your imaging means, which options are reasonable, and whether surgery is the right next step at all. There is no value in being rushed toward a procedure that does not serve the life you want to return to.

The right answer may be surgery. It may be something else. Either way, it should be yours.

01

You may not need surgery.

We would rather turn you away than treat you wrong.

02

Your story matters.

Imaging is reviewed in the context of the life you are trying to reclaim.

03

Take your time.

Education comes first. The invitation comes quietly, when you are ready.

Armen Khachatryan, M.D. “Dr. K”

Meet Dr. K

Board-certified orthopedic surgeon Two decades in cervical disc replacement

The surgeon became the patient.

Dr. K’s expertise spans minimally invasive spine surgery, motion-preservation technology, artificial disc replacement, and non-fusion approaches. He has pursued motion preservation since residency in the 1990s.

After two decades performing cervical disc replacement, he found himself facing the same decision he helps patients navigate.

He followed the same sequence he recommends: exhaust every reasonable option before surgery. Therapy. Injections. Time. Only when those measures failed did he choose disc replacement—not fusion—for himself.

“When my neck was on the line, I did what I would recommend for my own patients.”
